Happy New Year! Every new year presents a unique opportunity, to either continue on a successful path or wake up to our inadequacies and improve ourselves. Quite frankly, all of us can stand to improve in an area or another. Make the best of 2012 and remember that lasting changes happen over time.

2012 found me wearing a bantu knot out done on dry hair, wearing an Old Navy blouse I found on sale a couple months ago, black pumps and old jeans. The new year found me reading “Sacred Marriage” by Gary Thomas and “Diary of a Whimpy Kid” by Jeff Kiney. The new year found me in NY in the company of my favorite boy and men (Ty, husband and dad).
