This weekend was monumental for me. Thank you for the kind words on the Anniversary post
I really appreciate them!
To celebrate my 5th anniversary, I gave my hair a well-needed spa treatment, that included Amla. I had not done a Amla treatment in a while, and was beginning to miss my little mud spa days. This time I only added grapeseed oil to my Amla, not other powders were used. I rinsed the Amla and used some Suave conditioner to help rinse and soften my hair before actually deep conditioning. I don’t recall ever doing this before. I usually rinse with water and apply my conditioner. I think this added step might have actually help with getting the Amla out of my hair faster, and I could measure how much rinsing I still had to do based on the color of the conditioner. I then conditioned with Yes-to-Carrots C is for Conditioner. I allowed the conditioner to stay on for about 20-30 minutes. My hair was unbelievably soft when I rinsed the conditioner out. This conditioner is still near to my heart
Styling
Cruising through my old albums, I saw my pictures from Mother’s day 08 (my first mother’s day as an actual mom, I was celebrating long before
). I wore a roller set on my twisted hair. I decided to recreate this style but with products that I currently use.
(notes taken directly from my old Photobucket hair album) –Washed with Creme of Nature shampoo –Conditioned with Devacurl One C –Twisted using Jane Carter Replenishing Leave-In and Nourish and Shine. I set twisted hair in rollers, kept the roller set overnight and took the twists out this morning.

It looks as though I did separate the twists. My Now hair looks a lot fuller.I am not sure how much I fluffed last year, so I can’t say for certain that my hair has gotten fuller, or that the products used in this trial produced bigger, more voluminous hair.

I set twisted hair in rollers, kept the roller set overnight and took the twists out in the morning.

I prefer the fuller look of the Now shot, it’s really cute either way
I like both, but you are super cute in the “now” pictures. It just looks so thick!
Looks great! Definitely your hair is much fuller with this set!
I like both pictures, but yes your hair looks thicker and fuller now
