I truly believe Thanksgiving is a time to step back and look at the year past and be thankful for all the blessings I received, big and small. Nothing is insignificant in life and in the quest for bigger and better things, sometimes we disregard what at the time could seem like insignificant factors. I am forever grateful and joyful for the life I live, my beautiful family inside and out, the people that God has surrounded me with whom I love and love me, the opportunities I am faced with daily, whether I recognize them or not. If at no other time in the year, on this day I also remind myself to be thankful for the little inconveniences and unpleasantries. My life is a workmanship, and every detail has its purpose to complete the masterpiece that God has devised for me to be.
As far as Texture Playground is concerned, I am so blessed and thankful for my readership, and the support that you ladies provide me. When I was blogging once a month (just about) a couple months back, I really thought my readers would start dropping like flies. To my surprise, pleasant surprise I might add, my numbers kept growing. I am very thankful for that! If I never said it before, THANK YOU! Now, go tell your friends about the blog lol. I had to break the seriousness with some humor

This year for the 1st time my parent and my in-laws came together to have thanksgiving dinner. We live about 2 and a half hours away from my parents. Everyone brought food over. We had more food than people of course. It was so great and fun to have everyone over together. I’ve been married for a year and nine months now. I’m so greatfull that my parents and in-laws enjoy each other, I’ve found great sites like this one to help in my hair journey and made friends along the way, for my husband, and that I just have life to be able to spread love and have time to make right the things in my life that need to be. Thank God for his grace an mercy!
