Love your styles! Do you have more pics of you with short hair? That would be great for us newbies. I transitioned from 12/08 thru 11/09 and have about 5 inches of hair. I need some style ideas!!! I just got my first comb coils done and love them. I will be doing a coil out this week. Besides the coils and twists, I don’t know what else to do. My texture is finally coming out and I’m loving it.
I love your gallery! What a great idea! This offers lots of inspiration and style ideas. You’ve made a lot of progress. Do you have descriptions for these styles in other posts? I really like the style when you are wearing the yellow shirt (looks like a very defined wash n’ go?), the updo when you’re wearing the suit jacket, and the style when you’re wearing the grey blouse + long necklace. Were those twists/twisouts?
I remember “meeting” you on NaturallyCurly.com. It’s wonderful to see the progress you’ve made! I grew out my hair for about 18 months before I chopped it down to about a half-inch TWA in August. Part of my decision to chop it had to do with frustration, not knowing what to do with it, not feeling very adept at styles. I’m inspired by all of the different looks you’ve achieved — from fluffy and highly textured to wavy braid-outs and twist-outs, short to long. Thank s for sharing your pics and info with us. I plan to buy some of your products soon.
@Paraty, I do have descriptions of the styles. I have them in various posts under my hair musings, which is in the navigation menu as well. I will post the locations to the styles you asked about at the end of the week. I know for certain the style with the yellow shirt was immediately following a amla-brahmi-maka-neem treatment. My hair was so soft after the treatment, and it was much looser now that I look at the picture. The looseing was temporary though.
@ Shones, I’ve definitely come a long way since I joined NC.com in 2006. It’s been great! All the ups and downs with my hair resulted in the relationship and business venture you now see. I am glad the albums are inspiring you to try more styles. This is their main purpose on the site I look forward to your purchase and product review of course.
